一进学校大门，你便发现教学楼前面的台阶上放了许多鲜花，走近一些，浓浓的花香扑鼻而来，仿佛给美丽的校园喷了无数的空气清新剂。我正在享受着扑鼻的花香，抬头一看，咦？怎么教学楼的颜色也变成了淡黄色，比以前更加亮丽了，我们的教学楼变得年轻了许多。走进楼道，和原来的白色墙壁又不一样了，整个墙壁新贴了一层浅黄色的墙砖，让楼道变得更加整洁明亮。我们的教室门也换了，原来是木头门而且还不好锁，我们班有一次因为锁不上门还丢过东西，现在给我们换了崭新的防盗门，可好锁了，而且听老师说还能防火呢。
学校的变化太大了，新的教室仿佛让我呼吸到了新的空气，新的教室就是新的起点，我要改掉过去的陋习，做一名优秀的少先队员！

所来也怪，我们这一届六年级经历了学校大的变化，也许我们上学时正好是衔接点。
当时，操场可不是塑胶跑道，而是类似于马路的石子路，记得当时有些同学在路上摔倒时会滑坡腿。中间也没有足球场，只有一大片草地。篮球场的架子似乎快坏了。操场北面有一块篮球场，那块篮球场貌似比现在好。再说一说教学楼，当时我们一年级时的教学楼是一幢四层老楼，一层顶多五个班，还有教师办公室。那幢楼前有一块活动场地，场地西部有一块大草地，那是我们最理想的`活动场所。草地中间有一个类似于公园的地方，那最适合玩捉迷藏。
教学楼后面也是个小操场，后面是一块绿化地、林荫道，记得陶老师曾经带我们去看过树。老教学楼前面还有一幢楼，是给二年级的，据说要拆掉，不过我们一年级时候的教学楼已经变成了新楼和报告厅。
再看西校区，那里可是三、四、五、六年级的圣地，当时在我们眼中看来时一片圣神之地，无可侵犯，现在那里是一幢五层教学楼（我们在这里学习）。事实上，这里以前可不是这样子的。以前这里是三幢三层教学楼，顶楼上还有一个隔层，是音乐教室。这些楼有一些名字：实训楼，致远楼（具体的记不清了）。楼前面有一个假山和一大片树，树和假山之间有一块类似于小池子的不规则环状物，中间凹下。我们曾在这里上过兴趣班。教学楼和养洁楼之间有一块篮球场。还有格致楼，现在和以前的样子差不多，基本上没变，以前总有一种像医院的感觉。有一条大路直通格致楼，路右侧有学校的校训牌。

教学楼焕然一新。原来是用白漆漆的，有些同学玩游戏时不注意就把墙壁搞脏了。现在学校选用了土黄和银灰色的墙砖贴在了墙壁上，这样就算把墙砖搞脏了，只要用布一擦就干净了。
在操场的正中央，用大理石铺了一个太阳的图案，它象征着我们实验小学的明天一定会蒸蒸日上的。
最引人注目的是新装修的体育场，在加上塑胶场地上的篮球场，真实完美无缺。

最后来关于我们的食堂，以前的食堂要请好多工人帮忙打菜饭，而且慢需要排很长的队还乱哄哄的，这样既费力有费时。现 在的食堂可谓自动饭馆，这些吃的菜饭都是机器操控，只要刷卡把碗放上去很快饭菜就出来而且还有机器自帮你洗碗消毒，洗好碗以后就会自动放在碗柜里(每个人都会有属于自己的碗柜，方便下次吃饭)，吃完饭之后，有吸尘打扫卫生。这就是我们的新型厨房。

过去的操场可称作“尘土飞扬”。尤其是跑步的时候，弄得鞋子上、裤管里都是土；狂风一起，我们让连眼睛都睁不开，体育课也只好鸣锣收兵，上室内了。到了雨季更可怜，坑坑洼洼的操场变得泥泞不堪，踩上去满脚是泥；操场中间积水不退，几日功夫，就成了青蛙们的天堂。
